Celebrating a decade and two daughters

A destination vow renewal where the whole room wept and laughed — because the ceremony was gathered from family, not forms.

Hannah made our vow renewal feel completely us. We’re not the type of people to sit down and fill in questionnaires about our feelings, but she understood that and found a way of getting to know our story. We really gave her very little material to actually work with and yet she turned out a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted.

It was a nice surprise to hear Hannah’s words at the start of the ceremony. She’d spoken to the people closest to us and even spent time with our girls, building a picture of our relationship from the people who know us best. It made the ceremony genuinely personal rather than something that could have been written for anybody.

On the morning she ran the rehearsal, making sure everyone knew where they needed to be and when. Inevitably the children all still managed to walk the wrong way but that added to the relaxed feel of the day!

Despite the unbelievably hot weather, Hannah was still running about coordinating our various suppliers so that everything came together smoothly. She took a huge amount of hassle off our plate.

Having Hannah there meant we could actually enjoy the occasion.

For something as significant to us as celebrating 10 years of marriage and 20 years as a couple, we couldn’t have asked for a better person to conduct it.
